STENHØJ GROUP STRENGTHENS ITS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
The STENHØJ GROUP has grown significantly in recent years, both organically and through acquisitions.
Today, the STENHØJ GROUP has established its own companies in 11 countries and has a strong dealer network in more than 60 countries.
The STENHØJ GROUP operates across the entire value chain – from product development, production, distribution and retail trade, which means it is a major operator in the global automotive aftermarket.
“The expansion that STENHØJ is currently undergoing can among other things, be ascribed to the strategic foundation that we have established to support the company, where we as a Danish company with a Danish management style, will expand in the global aftermarket – based on our very strong position in Europe,” says CEO Søren Dyøe Madsen.
“The STENHØJ GROUP will continue to grow both organically and through acquisitions, which is why we have chosen to strengthen our executive management, and I am pleased to report that Lars Ormstrup has been appointed as COO in STENHØJ HOLDING A/S,” adds Søren Dyøe Madsen.
Lars Ormstrup will become part of group management on 1 April and will report directly to Søren Madsen.
“We were very lucky in managing to get Lars Ormstrup as the director for our machine plant at the end of 2016.
Lars has succeeded in establishing a strong management team around the Danish machine plant, so that he can now start in his new position. Lars will continue to be responsible for the machine plant, and will also take over operational responsibility for several of the foreign companies in the group,” says Søren Dyøe Madsen.

The plant in Denmark is now undergoing a very positive development, operated by our many talented employees. I therefore look forward to being part of the group’s development, including beyond Denmark,” says Lars Ormstrup.
Lars Ormstrup is a qualified production engineer with more than 20 years of experience in operational and strategic management, both regionally and globally. Before joining STENHØJ, Lars Ormstrup worked as the Regional Operations Manager at GKN, with responsibility for factories in Denmark, England, Italy and India.
